The intended spouses should appear together at the embassy at least a month before the wedding ceremony set date to:

An original or certified copies of intended spouses birth certificates or any other substitutive legal document

A certificate of residence of the future bride an groom

A certificate of prenuptial health examinations issued by a medical doctor proving applicants went through the following tests:

Blood grouping ABO

Venereal disease (Syphilis)

Lung x-ray (or any other certified medical document(s) proving that the intended are healthy enough to enter into a marriage)

A certificate of non-pregnancy, if necessary

A copy of the first page of the passport or of the consular card of the intended witnesses (a witness per person)

A copy of the marriage contract (optional). In that case the contract will be done by a notary.

A statement of option of polygamy ( In the event of an agreement over a polygamous marriage)

An administrative authorization when required for diplomats and uniformed personnel

Written parental consent of the future bride and groom if they are minors (man under the age of 10 and woman under the age of 18).
